Hi I have a Norge # LWN203W that had been in storage for about 4 years it will not agitate I checked the water level control line and it had a hole in it I removed the bad section and re-connected everything still no agitating but if I blow on the line the machine start to agitate could the WLC switch be bad? Also the WLC line is now shorter would that make a diff?
Thanks in advance

CC,

First things first,

Replace the air dome hose,

Part number: AP4025726
Part number: AP4025726

The water level control is not the problem, at this point, if It agitates when you blew in it, the switch and wiring are OK.

You could have a clog in the bellows or the bellows opening.
(where the air dome attaches to the outer tub assembly).

Repalce the hose and check the opening on the bellows and we'll go from there.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)

Hunter,

You still could have a bad water level switch.

But you need to get that hose replaced and openning checked for safety reasons, more than anything else,

That machine could overfill and flood the house, if left in the present condition.

Have you run a tetst cycle, does the machine spin, can you hear the pump sucking air, does the water fill ?

Drop us a line if you need more help,

Changed the hose still doing the same thing blew back away from the pressure switch no restrictions connected the line back to the pressure switch and blew and it started agiating for as long as I blew on it. Let it run through all other cycles and it did fine but no agiation.
Thanks in advance

Hunter,

As long as you're sure there are no air leaks on the new air dome tube,

You're going to need the Water Level Switch.

Ther must be a mechanical failure inside the switch.
