i pulled the defrost element it has 38ohms.
is there any way on this model to test the control?what else should i test?
model # frs23lh5dsr............
im going to pull defrost thermostat before i go to work tonite and let electrician test it.
i really would like to fix this sh1t im tired of using the blow dryer every 3 days lol

You need to test the defrost thermostat when it is below15 degrees.
Open fridg door and push the light button 5 times in 6 seconds, adaptive defrost pc board should start the defrost cycle, if not, replace the board. Press the same button 5 times in 6 seconds to go out of defrost.
