I need some serious help with this new GE washer. GE washer will no longer spin or agitate. Will fill and drain ok. But no motor action.

#1 I checked inline motor fuse it looked ok. But direct wired it anyway :)
#2 Motor LED flashes constantly 1sec on 1sec off

What sensor might no be letting the motor start?

What should I check next?

Washing backing up here in Montana :(

I can't pull up the model number you have posted, but start by checking the lid switch and the belt. and double check the model number please.

Yes belt is perfect and lid switch is magnetic and makes a little clicking sound when I open and close it.. Machine is just over a year old....

Motor LED binks on / off every one second constant.

Water fills and drains but it just won't activate the motor.

Should I cut lid wires and connect to be sure?

Check the connections at the motor, and if you can test the motor. We had one of these about a month ago and it was the motor. I don't remember all the details of it will have to look it up.

I don't know how to test the motor.

LED is blinking 1 sec on 1 sec off contant.

Do you have a hot wire pin out for this thing?

:)

You have a fuse in the wiring harness, just check per the schematic. Either that or a blown thermal protector internal to the motor.

LEDS on motor blinking 1 second constant on off. What does this indicate as to motor health?

I'm going to say it's the motor that's out.
