My wife called a repairman he said that the dishwasher needed a mtr, the mtr works, is there a way I can test the motor it doesn’t seem to be failing.

If you have a multimeter,

Disconnect the motor harness, and do the following tests on the motor :

White to Yellow 6.5 ohms (wash winding).
White to Gray 6.5 ohms (drain winding).
White to blue/wht 1.8 ohms (start winding).

Give yourself 10% high or low and your motor will check to factory specifications.
