I will and try and make this clear as possible. The new timer(kit2) part # is WB19X10006. On the old timer the 3 white wires were attached to #4, the pink and red wires were attached to #1, and the orange wire was attached to #2 Numbers 3,5, and 6 had no wires going to them as there were no spades for the attachment of a wire.
On the diagram that came with the new timer it shows a common (N) going to #5 for the current old timer which does not match.
To make a long story short I have the L2,L1,outputs 1 and 2 going to the correct (I think) contacts according to the diagram for the new timer, but what wire would I use for the neutral. Is it one of the white wires that is piggy-backed going to number 3. Or should I call a repairman.

Thanks White wires in an appliance are usually(99.9%) a neutral circuit, Based on that, anyone of the white wire connectors should work. :) :cool:

UPDATE I put the timer in and still could not figure out the wiring according to the schematics that came with the timer. I posted my question on the help forum and got very little help. I said to myself that I better call in a repair man that I found on your website from an advertisement. Well he came to re-wire and 65.00 later said he could not figure out the wiring according to the schematics that came with the new timer. He will check to see if he can find the wiring diagram on line and check to see if I rec'd the correct timer or not. So I still have some time left to return it if necessary
