Just stopped making ice one day.

Water pressure good. Fills with water fine but won't eject.

The optics check out ok; steady red when ice bin detector is closed. Red light goes off when freezer door is closed.

I thought it was the ice maker itself and replaced it, only to have the same problem with the new one.

With the water off, and the cycle running, it should try and first heat the tray and then the ejector fingers should rotate, is this happening?

Thank you for the reply. The fingers don't rotate after filling and freezing.

If you have this ice maker and its mounted sideways, its harvest cycle is controlled by the sensor and board mounted on both sides.

There's a whole test thing that goes with these jerky little boards. I really don't like this system. jmho

They can be found elsewhere for a lot less money. Just saying. Watch the video. There are some helpful videos on youtube that explains the test procedure better than I can here.

Thanks, TG.

The sensor appears to be working as designed, but I'll run the jumper wire on the plug and see if it cycles.

Well... I jumped the pins on the sensor board, left it for 48 hours, and...

Nothing.
