The dryer ran overnight nonstop. We didn't turn it off, because each of us noticed it running at different times and thought someone else reset the timer. Now the dryer is not getting any heat, but it spins. The lint trap is also clean.

Any ideas how to fix this?

The complete model number of the dryer might help.

It's a Kenmore 400. The timer is not working either. It won't shut itself off on any of the dryer settings.

This is not a model number. Check out the door frame.

It looks like it is model 110. The longer number is 110.79422801.

Does this sound right to you?

I found and checked the wiring diagram for your dryer. It is a regular gas dryer.

If the dryer ran overnight nonstop, most likely the timer failed and would need to be replaced.

The timer Part number: AP6016538
