dryer runs, just no heat, replaced thermal fuse, wasn't thermal fuse, then replaced operating thermostat.... dryer worked great for about 2 weeks, then no heat again... cleaned everything... do not want to spend another $45 on part to fail again... any ideas?

Yours is fairly simple, heating element, thermal cutoff/fuse on element shell, thermostat, timer, motor start switch and the wires that connect everything up.

I usually start with the power coming in. Make sure you have 240 volts to the dryer. I look over all electrical connections, look for burnt connectors and discolored wires.

Check the heating element, thermal cutoff/ fuse, and cycling t-stat for continuity.

If they and the wiring in between are good check the timer.

heating element WP279838

thermal cutoff/fuse
