I have replaced the motor and control board and still the Clean light flashes 6 times, pauses, then 1. When I put it in diagnostic mode, it runs through the cycles, adds water, runs, pumps it out and in the end the control panel is blank. When I then select Normal wash, I do not hear it filling and then in a matter of seconds the clean light flashes 6 times then 1 signifying a communication error. Any thoughts/ideas???? thx, Kelly

Have you called Jenn Air or Maytag for the warranty service? Your dishwasher is under one year warranty.

You may want to check the heating element and the hi-limit thermostat (#10 on the diagram) for continuity. Do not forget to unplug the dishwasher and to disconnect the wires from the heating element and hi-limit thermostat terminals prior to the continuity test. Post the results.

I opened it up and tested the hi-limit switch and the heating element. i am using a digital unit and set it to the lowest ohms setting. After unplugging the unit and removing the wire connections, i placed a probe on each terminal. when I first touched then i get a -1 then shortly after the number jumps between 12.0 and 18.0 on the element. The hi limit switch i get a 0.3 number. i have read the tutorial and maybe do not understand. thx, Kelly
