 Washer would not high speed spin after replacing MCU. Replaced CCU and now will not start. F99 code only.

F99 NOT SUPPORTED User selected on the UI the unsupported Cycle on the CCU. Mismatch of User Interface and CCU or corrupted EEPROM. Possible Causes/Procedure 1. Perform Service Cycle to pair the UI and CCU SW. 2. Replace User Interface. If failure still present: 3. Also replace the CCU.

[MODEL][/MODEL] What is "Service Cycle"? I tried the diagnostic process and only got flashing lights along with "F99" flashing on the display. Is there a way to tell whether the problem is in the CCU or in the UI?

I wish the manual to this washer was written as well as the one you reference. The controls are very different on that machine though.

I will keep searching for the service manual for this machine. Hopefully someone else on this forum might be able to pitch in!

I have the service manual which came with the machine. The problem is that it does not have enough info to get me there. I am changing the CCU back to the old one for now to confirm that the machine returns to its previous state.

After reinstalling the old CCU board I now have an F71 fault. This seems to point to the UI causing the F99 with the new CCU. Am I thinking correctly?

Thanks for the reply. I have replaced the MCU twice. The second time it made no difference in my low speed spin. I still have two MCU boards, one of which I have not used. I could easily change again but I am skeptical. I guess no harm done tho.
