Also, a more detailed description of the problem, such as when does this happen would aid us. Does it do this only in spin mode or does it do this when it is filling or agitating.

Now suddenly the washer won't agitate in wash mode but I can hear the motor running and the timer ticking thru the cycle.

If you want to try and change it out and order the timer from this site you can return it if it does not fix the problem.

It does agitate in extended rinse cycle, but is making a squeaking sound as it does. I am going to pull the thrust bearing and inspect for damage
