ok so we have this dryer(my nemesis) and about 2 months ago it started the "i dont want to start" routine... we would put it on the timed cycle and it wouldnt start,switch to the other side (towels..etc etc) and it would start...then it would only work on that side(not on timed cycle) ... then it started to shut down mid cycle and then wouldnt start for a short period of time....NOW it wont start at all!
side note... everytime it wouldnt start ,when you turned the start button it would BUZZ like the cycle had ended..
i checked the door switch and thats not the problem...
please help before the wife has a coronary!:confused:

From your description it sounds like a timer problem.
Place the timer at a position that the unit will not start. Unplug the unit. Check between B and C on the timer. Should be 0 ohms.
Be sure that you disconnect the wires from either B or C when measuring. This ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path. |
