During a wash cycle the machine stopped. The lights were still on and it wouldn't drain. I couldn't power the machine off or open the door. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I couldn't run the drain/spin cycle. I drained the water manually and opened the door with the manual over ride to get the clothes out. The washer turns on and the door locks but the cycle never begins. I ran the diagnosis test and it will fill and drain but when it drains it gets stuck and keeps draining even when there is nothing to drain. Also I don't get any errors on the diagnosis test.

If the diagnostics fails that is usually a sign that the main control unit has failed. Use the tech notes to see if you can do some component testing, along with testing the motor control board. If you cannot determine anything try replacing the main control unit. If you buy from this site and that part does not fix things you can return it. See the returns policy.

Before posting this article, I thought it was the MMC and swapped it. The problem still happens with the new one. I have a video of the problem http://youtu.be/X60zAAxEcO4
