My Kenmore 90 series washer has following symptoms:

1. Fills water correctly.
2. Does not agitate or spin. I hear the motor working.
3. Drains water correctly at the end of a cycle. I used the pre-wash
cycle to check this.

Please help me diagnose what is the issue and how could I fix it. Any more tests I need to run to narrow down the cause ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like a faulty motor coupler. See video on this link.

Thanks so much !!! Opened it using the video instructions. Just like you said, the coupler was broken. Ordered it here. Should be coming in a few days.
