The lock light is flashing on the dishwasher and other keys don't work. I've tried lots of suggested fixes to get it to reset--holding down the heated dry/lock button for 10+ seconds, pressing it many times in rapid succession, holding down all keys in succession from left to right, and disconnecting power. I've also tried taking apart the inner panel and disconnecting/reconnecting all connectors to the mother board. Nothing helps. Once in a while I can get the Cancel button to come on and blink with the Lock on light, but not consistently. Once the Cancel button worked by itself and it ran a drain cycle (button is Cancel/Drain together). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The given model number is incomplete.
Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then an additional 8 digits.

Could be either the control board or the control panel (keypad).

The usual way to trouble shoot this is to measure the key outputs with a meter but you need the tech sheet to get the outputs.

If the keypad checks OK then replace the control board.
Still a bit of a gamble but the odds are better.

Thanks for the help, denman. 665 are the first three digits. Unfortunately the keypad only comes in black and our dishwasher is white. It's expensive for a nonmatching part, so we might be looking at buying something used on craigslist to get us a couple more years until a kitchen renovation.
