Dryer stopped heating so I did the troubleshooting and everything checked out so it pointed to the control board. It had exactly 10 ohms in the heater circuit and it was within the range (12.something KOhms) for the thermal fuse/thermistor circuit. so at that point it said to replace the control electronics. I went to my parts store and they ordered me Part # W10405827 based on the parts diagram for my model, even though the model number on the board itself was W10317636. Well the board they ordered did the exact same thing when I installed it, machine turned on and ran fine but didn't heat. So I went back and they swapped it out for the one matching the board that I had (the ...636 number) and now the machine won't do anything, attached is a picture of the display when I plug it in. No buttons function at all, no beeping or anything. The only noticible difference between the original board and this one is that the original said REV B and this one says REV C after the part number.

Whats the next step??? I'm going to try going back to the parts store tomorrow with this board and see what they tell me.

Well I got the original board back and after some farther investigation it was just a simple fix, I tested and had power at the outlet and tested the cord and had continuity, but when I tested for power at the drier one of the legs kept showing zero. It took some simple bending of the prongs on the plug to make sure they were making good contact and that was it.

Drier is working like normal again, thanks for the advice with the power and how only the drier needs one of the legs that really helped narrow down the problem.
