I have a maytag epic med9800tko that will not start,ckd incoming power, door switch start button would like to have a wiring diagram so I can check power at motor. I am getting 220 volts on the outside terminals of motor plug when start button is pushed.

Here are your parts Parts for Maytag MED9800TK0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. I am, not sure what voltage you are measuring but the motor runs off of 120 volts. Check the L1 to Neutral voltage should be 120 volts. If the drum light works then you have it. Next I would check the thermal fuse and the belt switch. If the thermal fuse is blown be sure to check and clean your vent system as that is the most common cause of it blowing. |

Denman, The voltage I was reading was centrifugal switch for the heating element. Found the problem on the control circuit where the relay was soldered in, resold erred it will see what happens working good. Thank you for the info if it don't last I will order a new board. Tim
