I am new to Forum which I am finding very difficult to use. I called help desk only to find someone from another country I could not understand. I have a Maytag 9600 SQ0 and I have a problem with the control panel sensing light will not go off and dryer will not start. Last year I had the control panel replace and a thermostat put in. A couple of months later the clothes on delicate cycle were very hot. This lasted a month or two and now the sensing light will not go off and dryer will not start. I assume I need a new control panel and some type of temperature control.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

You need to do the troubleshooting test that can be found in the tech sheet for your model dryer.

Here is a copy of the tech sheet for your model.
