Replaced control panel because no current was going thru it. Now it flashes a code of 3 short beeps. It now powers up but only beeps. What would be the code or the next part to replace.

These Whirlpool Duets are incredibly difficult, and yours is just another example of how hard it is to work on them.
See if you can put it into diagnostic mode and generate an error code. If not, you may have received a faulty or wrong control unit, and see if the seller will honor a warranty and replace it.

Will see if they will honor it. The code that is flashing now is for replacement of the temperature sensor. Both panels give the same code. Not sure what to do now. If that doesn't work the tech guide says to replace the wiring harness and for sure I do not want to attempt that.

Okay, if you replace the control unit replace the temp sensor also. It's failure might have caused the control unit to fail.
These are expensive parts, and I understand your frustration. Duets are great when they work, but when they don't, well, they are not fun. If you can live without a front loader than a basic top loader may be your best alternative to fixing the Duet.
