Takes 3-5 'spins' to get it drained and dried properly before sending it to the dryer. Spins slowly compared to how it should. Sometimes it doesn't spin at all (you have to start it by hand).

Is this fixable/worth fixing? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Definitely worth fixing. Slow spin is usually caused by a worn clutch but can also be a worn drive block or failing motor coupler. Another possibility is something in the pump causing the motor to run slowly. You can pull the pump off the motor and try spin to rule that out. Pull the gearcase to get to the clutch. Hold clutch hub and try to rotate clutch band with your finger. Should be hard to do. Remove agitator to inspect top of drive block. Remove motor to inspect motor coupler.

No, it should be hard to rotate the clutch band within the clutch hub with just using your finger.
