Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/14/2013(UTC) Posts: 4		Whirlpool Dryer Model WED5100VQ1 My dryer started to randomly not heat up until it stopped heating up more than not. I did some research and used a multimeter on 4 different parts to check for continuity but couldn't definitively tell if there was a problem SO, I bought all four pieces and replaced them all. It STILL isn't heating up 100% of the time. These are the pieces that I bought and replaced: Thermal Fuse Heating Element Assembly High Limit Thermostat Cycling Thermostat What did I miss? Help! :confused:

There are 2 small parts (cheap) that sit on the control unit at the incoming gas pipe at its connection to the burner area. Easy to replace. There is a thermall cutoff in the heat circuit but if it was blown, you wouldn't get any heat. Problem could be timer contact or motor switch. Eric
