Just click on the model number in your post and pics of your fridge will open; click on window 2 (controls) and locate item 13 which will show location of the adaptive defrost control... cheers

I have the same question. I've ordered/received the part but am still searching for how to remove the overhead covers and replace the part without breaking everything.

Thanks! I looked through some of the other posts awhile later and found a similar description. You're right...it's not difficult...but we should add that it's necessary to unplug the refer. The board is still drawing current even after turning off the unit. I've had some recurring icing issues on the condensor coil that I thought might be a faulty heater element but after reading other posts, it may have been a faulty ACB causing it all. My old one would start buzzing (bad relay box on the board) and would not stop unless I unplugged/plugged the refer. I was able to get it out without issues and my old one was in a pocket in the back right corner of that housing. It wasn't attached to anything but just laying in the corner space. A simple case of plug and play. I've read that others are in a different style of plastic box and are held in with screws. ?? It's all working great and I'll see if my condensor icing problem returns or not.
