Hello everyone,
My maytag washer (MVWB700VQ0) has decided to skip the wash & rinse cycles then gives me an "ol" alarm after the machine completes it's spin cycle. All seems to be fine until these cycles. Spins great & no noises, everything moves freely. I've changed out the Control Board (W10187488) & the suspension (W10189077). The timer is good until prior to the wash cycle. It will sit @ (XX min) then jump down to 4 min for the spin cycle. Not sure what else to look @. Thank you for your time!

If you lift the inner wash tub, does it lift easily and smoothly?

It does move up and down, but not sure if it's an "easy" move. It's either some kind of tension or a very heavy inner tub.

Will the machine fill at the start of a wash cycle?

It fills nicely, drains nicely, & does everything it supposed to until the wash cycle. Either something is telling it not to wash or it just doesn't want to agitate

Okay, you likely have an issue with the tub not floating as the water level rises. There may be an article of clothing or something between the two tubs, not allowing the tub to float. Can you remove the inner tub to inspect?

I will definitely take a look, but will take some time. It may take a day or so. Have to go to work now, but if nothing is stuck what do you think may be wrong with it? Thank you Appliance Ninja, I'll post back soon.

Does the inner tub have to come out? I just popped off the top "cover" and looked in between the 2 tubs and it is completely clear. Could it be something underneath?

The machine is clear in between the tubs and underneath.
