I purchased a replacement door for my microwave. Once I received it, i swapped it out. The microwave light now stayed on, making the microwve inoperable. When I put the old door back on, the problem ceased. Any reason why this is happening.

Aftermarket parts not made to specs...........return the new part you ordered..
