Can anyone tell me the location of the defrost timer for the Magic Chef RB193AV?

Here are your parts Parts for Magic Chef RB193AV Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.comThe timer is item 22 in section 09, so it looks like it is under the unit. Cannot say if it is behind the kick plat or at the rear of the unit behind the rear cover. You may not actually be able to see it. It depends how they mounted it but there is usually a hole that will let you turn the timer cam. |

Thanks denman...I looked underneath from the front and could see nothing that looks like a defrost timer, or any hole for adjustment. When I checked from behind, I could not see it either...I will look again. Perhaps it is attached to the compressor.

It should not be attached to the compressor but may be close to it.
Defrost timers are normally either in the machine/compressor compartment or in the control console in the fresh food section.
Since the parts breakdowns show it in the machine compartment I think that is where it is but am not sure. |
