My dishwasher was sporadically not filling. Now it will not fill. I checked a couple of things and have found the following:
106 volts at the water valve when it's supposed to be operating.
18 volts at the float when the switch is closed.
106 volts between the water valve and float.

I have verified 120 volts to the machine so the voltages I measured seem odd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The voltage across the float switch should be 0 with 120 across the valve when the valve is open - 18 volts means you've got bad contacts in the switch and it should be replaced.
