The floor of my upright freezer was iced, and water was escaping from under the door. I defrosted the freezer, removing the ice from the freezer floor, but there is still ice in the area towards the back of the freezer floor beyond the shallow opening. Is there a clogged drain somewhere that I can't see?

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire LFFH2067DW1 Freezer - AppliancePartsPros.comYes there should be a drain directly under the evaporator coils. You will have to remove the cover in the freezer to get at it. Also check the drain cup under the unit to see if it is full of dust etc, This can cause the drain to slow down and then it freezes. |

Thank you! Yes, when we opened up the back cover of the freezer, we saw the drain hose and it was cracked open and wet. Since this has happened at least twice in the short life of this freezer, and the local parts supplier says he has never seen a hose break before, I'm imagining that it was defective from the beginning. Who would have thought? Thanks again!
