Hello. This looks like a fantastic forum, and thank you to all of the techs who help out on here. My wife and I have a two year old Whirlpool Quiet Partner I that just started to act up. I have read many posts on here, and all mention the Clean light being activated, or blinking 7 times. We do not have that issue. We can fill the dishwasher, shut the door (it clearly clicks as it always has when its latched), and we select any cycle and option combination we want (I have tried them all), press start twice as we always have, and the start light flashes three times and nothing happens. It then makes several clicking noises every few seconds or so, and then the cancel/drain light illuminates. No go from there. I have not seen the clean light come on at all, and I haven't seen anyone mention the three flashes of the start light, so I thought I would make out own post. Thank you for any insight and help you could give us!

Thank you. I know the handle is good and now I am working on the switch. I tried to manually hold the door closed while activating the switch and trying to start the unit, and it did not work. I am going to try to find a meter and check the connection on the switch to make sure it is working properly. If that is working properly, what would the next component be that may be the culprit. Maybe the control board according to the video?
