when setting temp on bake or convect bake, enter 350 degrees (for example), hit start, get "err" message and it drops temp to 260 degrees?

Jack, Check and make sure the control board has not been set for "Celsius" by accident. If that isn't the issue, please re post and supply a proper model number of your wall oven, so we can investigate further.

Jack, "Open the oven door, then press and hold BROIL pad for 5 seconds.(You will know you are in Celsius when "F" disappears.) To switch back to Fahrenheit, press "Broil" pad again for 5 seconds("F" will reappear.)"

260dgrs. C. is equal to 500dgrs. F. which is the top temperature range for a "Bake" cycle, and could create the ERR display code.
