First of all, never buy a Kitchenaid appliance. Junk. We have a Kitchenaid microwave/oven model number KEMS308GSS2. So my oven door has stopped fully closing AGAIN. I paid $500 to have the damn thing repaired last year. They had to pull the entire oven from the wall to replace the parts. Question: can my husband and I make this repair ourselves or are we asking for trouble? The rep. said I needed parts AP3083224. Do I need more than the hinges? I'd hate to take the whole thing apart and find out I'm missing something. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello, You have to remove the oven from the cabinet to check and see if the door hinge receivers (#8 at the diagram) are bad. The oven is very heavy and you have to decide if you together with your husband can do it or you will need someone else to help you. In order to replace the door hinges the oven door has to be removed from the oven. For your convenience I attached the instructions to the post. - The right hand hinge receiver Part number: 4455723
