Thanks to this site for giving me the idea. Yep, I did the same thing. Mine froze up again in a couple of days. I had someone come out and fix it. I watched him. It was tricky to get apart. I don't know if I would have figured it out without having watched him to it. Then he added a little kit which warms the line. Keeps it unfroze. Pretty simple but I'm pretty handy and was glad he did it. Without a step by step instruction I would have been lost.

Gene. GE: GSS25XSQA Board: WR55X10942 Nothing coming from the door works. No light, ice, or water but it still makes ice.

Check the wire harness under the freezer door. If there is nothing wrong, replace the dispenser control board. - The dispenser control Part number: AP3205358

Thanks to this site for giving me the idea. I tried this and it DID work... I emptied the fridge, blow dried the door edge while open for appx 10min (noticed it kept getting cold @ the bottom) kept it going for 20min more (inside corner, outside corner, under the door insulation & the ice dispenser shoot). Turned it back on, reset the filter & nothing!!!! BUT after trying ice, it dripped then a little pellet of ice dropped out & I had water!
