My Maytag gas oven was slow to light. I have replaced the igniter. It tests at 3.4 amps. I then replaced the safety valve. When you turn the oven on, the igniter comes on, after about 45 seconds there is a smell of gas. But it doesn't light for around 15 to 30 minutes. What next?

Hello,

Make sure the gas shut off valve is completely open.

Check the oven burner for a clogged holes.

Verify that the oven igniter is properly aligned.
