My Bosch dishwasher SMU2042UC/14, series 2000 sequence monitor dial sticks in the wash cycle and the rinse cycle. I replaced the control with a new one but had the very same results as the old. What do I try now?:p

If the dishwasher fills correctly then stops running, suspect the timer mechanism or circuit board. Be sure to try every available cycle. If no cycle runs, your timer has probably failed.
