The igniter glows but gas never comes on unless I tap on the safety valve. I removed the igniter it looks ok. I've tried several times but it never lights until I tap on the valve, i've waited for several minutes before taping on the valve. Frigidaire model FGF326ASA.
thanks for any help!

Looks like the problem is a weak igniter which has to be replaced. - The part number for the oven igniter is AP2150412 Gene.

Hi James,
No, this part would not work. What is the original problem with your oven?
Gene.

I have a whirlpool GS563LXSB - gas. The stovetop works but the oven doesn't. When I turn on the broiler, I can hear clicking but nothing happens after that. On bake, I don't even hear the clicking. Not sure which part has gone bad. I don't want to buy a bunch of parts for no reason. Also, upon doing the self diagnosis test, i got the "F363" error. Now, I read on one of the other threads that there is no such error for my unit, but I actually did have this error. Not sure what to do. Thanks in advance for any help.
V.

Thanks. That worked. It was the gas valve. Thanks again.

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
