Last night my double wall oven made a series of beeps and then the display went blank. The oven does not turn on but the inside light works when the door is opened and the buttons beep when pressed. When I switched the circuit breaker off and back on, it made another series of beeps and sounded like it was trying to heat up, but then turned off.
What do you suspect the problem is and how much do you estimate that the part(s) would cost to fix the problem?
Thanks.

Open the control panel and check the control panel thermal fuse, which is a part of the wire harness and plugged into the control board, for continuity. Check the control power transformer on the right side behind the control panel. Normally it should read: between the terminals where the red wires connected -75 Ohms to 95 Ohms and between the terminals where the blue wires connected -less than 1 Ohm. If there is nothing wrong, replace the control board. There are two different kind of the control panel thermal fuse used in such ovens. You have to figure out bu the following pictures which one is good for your oven. - The control panel thermal fuse with two flat terminals Part number: 4451042
- The control panel thermal fuse with one flat terminal and a hook on the other end Part number: 4456654
