The refrigerator is not cooling and freezing. I checked the compressor fan at the back and evaporator fan inside of the freezer compartment, both are working. what problem it could be?

Since that i see both fans keep running for about hours, all of sudden everything stopped. The light is still on when I open the door. during the whole process, I can only feel normal temperatures wind coming from the fan, never freezing or cooling. No kick anymore since the first one.

Sorry for the delay, I never got an email, don't know if it's this site or gmail problem.
Most probable problem is the motherboard in the back, bad solder joints, AP4436216.
To confirm, pull off the three pin, gray power connector from the motherboard and stick a jumper wire between the connector mating pins labeled line and comp as labeled on the motherboard. Plug in fridg, if compressor starts, that confirms it.

Hi richappy, I haven't tried the motherboard yet, however I tested the thermostat resistance. I found the resistance always keep 0 no matter I tested in air temperature or ice temperature, does this mean the thermostat fail and I need get it replaced?

If you are measuring the defrost thermostat, that opens up at temperatures way over ambient, like over 100 degrees.

Yes, I'm measuring the defrost thermostat, I tested it in hot water that temperature over 100 degrees, the resistance is still 0. do you think this could be the reason? in my observation, the evaporator fan always blow out air of room temperature.

Check the compressor in the back. If the fan is ruuning, but compressor cold, you have a bad motherboard.

Sorry for late update, too busy on other stuff. I checked again, when I plugged in the power, only the refrigerator defrost heater started. a couple of minutes later, the defrost heater stopped and it was warm in the freezer. Then the evaporator fan and compressor fan started, I touched the compressor, it's vibrating, but the compressor never gets hot. Is this caused by bad motherboard? Is AP4436216 the right part I'm looking for?
As the defrost thermostat always has 0 resistance no matter hot or cold, is it broken too?
