Kenmore classic grille electric. None of the burners nor the oven or broiler will turn on. The clock display only comes on if any of the above is turned on. I do hear the "click" when oven or broiler are turned on, but no heat is produced. Please advise

The first thing I would check is the circuit breakers for the range. They both should be on.
If there is nothing wrong, then I need you to double check the model number. It's probably incomplete or incorrect.

checked the circuit breaker-that's ok. I double checked the model #. It is 911.4688690 for a Kenmore slide in electric. Serial # 6x61666. Thanks for your prompt reply -Keith

Unfortunately this model number does not come up. May be due to age.
Sounds like there is a missing power leg or a short inside the range, but the first thing I would check is the power from the outlet or the junction box, if it's hardwired.
Next I would recommend to pull the range off the wall and check all wires and connections, starting from the power cord.
Post your findings.
Gene.
P.S. If you have the wiring diagram, post it too.

Pulled the range out from the wall and found the power cord partially out of the outlet. Pushed it back in and we are fully operational again. To think I was about to spend a thousand bucks to replace this makes me shudder! Thanks for your help, I might have disregarded the outlet altogether if not for your advice. Now, any tips for finding relacement knobs for the burners? -Keith

It is not possible to find any replacement parts if the model number does not come up. The only thing what could help if there is a part number on the old knob.
Gene.
P.S. You can try to call Sears with the model number what you have.
