The dishwasher is not getting power. We recently replaced the control board and the pump (the pump turned out to be the problem). I measured across what I think is the thermal fuse (part 6 on the control board parts diagram) and got infinite resistance. The fuse says microtemp on it, so it should be a fuse .I'm thinking the fuse is bad. Anything else I should check first? Also, the new fuse seems to come with two wires. I'm not sure what they are for. Can you tell me?

Based on your investigation, the fuse is bad and needs to be replaced. The wires that come with the fuse kit are to replace the existing connectors in the machine. There was some concern over heat being generated at the connectors contributing to the fuse failing. Once the existing connectors are removed, the wires can be stripped back and secured along with the new wires in the included terminal connector. Put some electrical tape around it to prevent and metal contact and you should be good.
