This past week the interior light and the hood light blew out. Replaced both bulbs and the lights do not work. The wife said that there was a flash of light when the lights burned out. They both went out at the same time. Is there a board or a fuse that is bad? What would cause both bulbs to blow at the same time.

The control board () is the only common component to both those lamps (and everything else for that matter) as they share no wiring or connection points. I would try replacing the lamps with the power disconnected to the unit and see if the new ones last. The control board is an unlikely failure point if everything else is working. If the turntable motor, and vent fan (the other components tied with the lamps at the board) start having troubles, then I would look at the wiring from the interlock switches to the board itself for a loose connection.
