My gas dryer keeps going out. i see it glow. sometimes it will lite sometime it won't and has a humming noise when it trying to lite. could this be a coil or both coils?

The problem you describe is usually associated with the valve coils. As the coils age, they cannot always hold the valves open so the symptom is usually the igniter will glow and ignite the burner one or two times, then no gas after that. The coils come as a kit and are easily replaceable.
