My electric wall oven was working fine, but after a general power outage
it failed. The control panel is dead. There is power in the oven. You can hear the beep every time you depress a key, but no operation.
I suspect the oven control board is defective. It this is the problem, how I take it apart? Do I need to remove the oven from the wall to perform the repair? Thanks

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Jenn-Air JMW8530AAB WALLOVEN- S/C MWAVE ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com

It does sound like the control panel is shot.

Here is a manual which should help with the repair, see Page 2-1.

You may have to join the site to download the manual.

I would try flipping the breaker off.on slowly a couple times to see if it will reset.
Also be sure to shut the breaker off when working on the unit.
