Compressor seems to be in defrost too long. Then the ice will melt and refreeze. Also ice dispenser will not change from crushed to cubed put will pull in with power to it. could I have a problem with a control board?

Here are our parts Model SearchAlso check the defrost thermostat. Item 240 in Freezer section Once the ice on the evaporator coil has melted off this should stop the defrost heater. |

Agree totally Just something else that he may want to check as "too long" doesn't tell us how long. |

20 min is NOT TO LONG!!!!!, Its NORMAL!!!!!!!! Its not a problem if its in defrost for 30 min. Before it goes into "Defrost" It does a 120 min.run time "Pre -defrost "SUPER CHILL" This cools the freezer to -18 so that it dosent warm up during "defrost" Its possible that the ONLY problem that you have is a problem with the Icemaker!!!!!!:)
