while running in the spin cycle the machine made a loud noise sounded like something let go now the washer makes noise while running even if empty sounds like a loud clicking sound is it possible a weld on the tub fingers broke? please give me the possibilties thanx don p.s. sounds more like quiet clunking

Take off the back and check out the support structure. Unfortunately the rear bearing on this model fails frequently and you need to check that out also. If it is bad the spin will start to sound like a jet engine.

In this case replacing the machine is usually the better option.
