Just started load of clothes washer filled up and then heard a loud popping noise and then it stopped.Will not wash or spin but did pump all the water out of machine.Called to see if it was belt but no belt listed for this model any ideas what it might be.Thank You

Sounds like your coupler ( AP3963893) is broken. Loosen the screw on the front on each end of the control panel until it slides forward and lifts up from the front. You will find the lid switch plug which needs to be disconnected and a couple brass colored clips on each end. Remove the clips, grasp the cabinet from the front and tilt it toward you and off the base. Bottom middle is the pump held in place with a couple clips, and the motor is behind with a couple more clips, but these have screws that need to be removed. Pull the motor off and you will find the coupler, or what is left of the coupler. Replace it, then reassemble the unit and enjoy your washer.
