I read that other people were having trouble where their microwave works but doesn't heat anything. Suggestion was made to replace the fuse, and we purchased one at Home Depot 20 amp 250V R30, but it still doesn't heat. The fuse we removed was E35 is there a difference. What could be wrong?

Can you be more specific on the problem? What it does and what it does not (besides the heating problem). Which fuse did you replace? There are two fuses in the microwave.

You have to have a simple multimeter in order to perform the troubleshooting.

The microwave turns on the tray moves and everything appears to be working except there is no heat. It also does not defrost. I replaced the fuse behind the circuit board. My exact model # RMC275PDB1

You have to remove the microwave from the oven cabinet to perform the troubleshooting. According to the wiring diagram the first failure suspect is the magnetron TCO (#31 on the diagram) which you have to test for continuity. Replace if it's open. Also you have to check for continuity both door switches (#51).

If there is nothing wrong then the magnetron has gone bad.

You can find the disassembly instructions in the Service manual.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool oven and microwave combination Model RMC275PDB1
