Hi all newbie here just looking for a little help with our old beasty, today it just started to not add cold water to the wash cycle on any settings only hot. the only spot it will add cold is on any rinse setting. so now we half fill it on a rinse setting, turn to a wash setting and let it finish adding hot. rinse, wash and spin are ok. any ideas? thanks

I cannot find any info on the given model number. Tried AppliancePartsPros and the Whirlpool sites. Please check it. Model Number LocatorSince you can get cold water for rinse the cold valve and cold water supply is OK so that leaves whatever is controlling the valve. If the unit has a temperature sensing system then that is the probable cause. They are more trouble than they are worth. |
