A model number may help others help you.
Did the unit used to run OK? If not it could be the drain is not looped higher than where it enters the house plumbing or perhaps it has come loose and fallen.
If the unit has a separate drain pump you will have to find out if that pump is running when it should not be. The unit may also have a check valve or flapper valve that is not closing properly. |

The unit ran correctly one minute and next it didn't. All plumbing intact and check valve clear-no obstruction. No separate drain pump in system. No energized drain valve in system. Does this motor reverse in order to drain. Thanks denman for your ideas-Paul

Still need a model number. Kenmore does not make anything so it could be anyone's unit. Model Number Locator |
