I HATE the stainless steel on my dishwasher model MDBH955AWS, and would like to change it to black, is this possible? I only found a stainless steel replacement panel on the site.

Not sure if you mean the control panel or the door panel.

AWS is stainless
AWB is black
AWW is white
AWQ is bisque
It is very important that you use the complete model number as there are different panels used in this series.
You will see what I mean if you search AppliancePartsPros' parts site using MDBH955AW.

If you mean the door panel you could always spray paint it.
Rough it up first with 200 grit emery cloth. Then use a primer and then the color you want.
