Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/23/2008(UTC) Posts: 6		Our Maytag LAT9306BGE makes a very loud uuugh-uuugh noise during the agitation cycle only (sounds like someone is being punched in the stomach). There are no other unusual sounds during the other cycles. The machine was used for 2 years. Can we continue to use it without causing damage the machine? Would a little grease help? We would really like to hear your professional advice - thanks!

Hi Richappy, I visually inspected the shaft pulley belt and carefully felt the pump belt and both seem okay; no signs of tear, etc. The noise is loudest at the machine’s rear upper right. What do you suggest?
