I replaced the Broil Element and the Sensor in this oven. After replacing both items the the system would not regulate the heat. The Broil element would stay hot. I then shut power off to the oven at the breaker for about 10 minutes and tried again. After the oven went through the preheat I received Error code E2 F3. This shows bad sensor, just replaced sensor, what gives?? Am I missing a step in the process??

Is there a way to test the sensor? I checked the connection and it all seems to be good.

You can test it with an ohm meter to see if it has continuity.

Is there a range in the reading that I should be looking for?

It should be listed on the tech sheet, usually inside the control panel.

I am getting 1.088K on both the old sensor as well as the new one. My problem must be somewhere else??
